 Sacred Mandala Drum

We birthed this beautiful greenish-blue drum at the special eve of Full-Moon Eclipse. This color combination is one of my favorite; like Mother Earth&Mother Ocean.💚💦🌍🌿💙 

I wanted to capture the essence of sacred femininity, love&compassion, the energy of the divine life-source, that nurtures the world and every living soul in it.

💚How it’s born? This is a very special process, that i want to share with You in details. 

My mandala based on the ancient symbol of the ‘Seed of Life’. I let my hand be guided by the divinity, and just flow with the spirit of creation; soft floral motives unfold from the base effortlessly.

The uniqueness of it, that is a hand-drowned, one of a kind piece, all the delicate thin lines were painted with a thin paintbrush, not with pen. I was fully there, my eyes and hands were working in alignment while it kept my attention on the movement, and it put me in a special state of awareness. Meditation. Thats what it is. And actually creating Mandalas traditionally is a form of active meditation.

What is a Mandala traditionally?

A mandala is a circle of life, used in spiritual and ritual practices across several cultures.

🌿Meaning of the word: “Mandala” comes from Sanskrit, meaning “circle” or “center.”

🌿Structure: It usually has a concentric, geometric form with a central point surrounded by symmetrical patterns, representing balance and harmony.

🌿Symbolism: The circle embodies wholeness, unity, and the cosmos. It often represents the universe itself, with the center symbolizing the spiritual core or divine.

🌿Religious use: In Buddhism, and Hinduism mandalas are tools for meditation, visualization, and initiation rituals. They can symbolize enlightened realms, or the journey toward enlightenment. Tibetan monks famously create intricate sand mandalas, which are later ritually destroyed to emphasize impermanence.

💙May this drum carry the resonance of divine harmony, weaving its vibrations through time and space. May it awaken remembrance, grounding us in the sacred rhythm of life.

💙We prepared a beautiful drumstick with soft tanned leather and rabbit fur that makes the sound softer, deeper and more enchanting.

💙Crafted with a birch wood frame and adorned with a detailed embroidered ribbon, these drums draw inspiration from the pure beauty of nature—made with love.
